Hello! If you’ve come across my page that means you’re like me: you have ADHD (and I bet you have a doggo that has it too). There’s a joke in my family that my dog, Bear, has ADHD like me, of course dogs don’t really have ADHD, but the things he does make it seems like he has ADHD. He’s inattentive during training and will take off chasing the first bird he sees when he becomes disinterested in me. It’s a wonder how I even trained him, being inattentive myself. I’ve trained my dog to do basic commands and more, and I have continuously trained him for a whooping 7 years!
More than that: I’ve worked closely with dogs and their people for 4 years, and I’ve helped them understand their dog and how to take care of them, how to automate the training process, and things I’ve done with my own dog to help strengthen that bond. Although many of the people I talk to don’t have ADHD, my tips and tricks will still help you.
